About the Owner & Principal, Caprece Jackson-Garrett
Strategic marketing consultant, publicist, experienced event producer, publicist, personal style consultant, and commentator, Caprece established Bonneau Caprece llc in 2011 to produce fine arts productions; and provide event management, public relations, and strategic marketing services.
The Ohio University and Fashion Institute of Technology graduate worked as a general interest reporter & registered fashion journalist based in Paris, France for five years, where she covered the designer collections in Paris and Milan, Italy; and served on the journalism team that launched the American edition of ELLE Magazine. Caprece developed her expertise as a publicist/event planner in Washington, D.C. during the late 80’s and 90’s.
Career highlights include: establishing the events department of the Frederick Douglass-Isaac Myers Maritime Park for the Living Classrooms Foundation, raising nearly $300,000 between September, 2006 and December, 2008; serving as press secretary during the O’Malley Administration for the Baltimore City Council from December, 2001 – February, 2005; and handling logistics for the grand opening of Port Discovery Children’s Museum.
She co-founded Wear It Out Baltimore in 2011 to provide showcase platform opportunities for the industry-standard fashion community of Baltimore; and the Bonneau Caprece Jazz Series in 2013 to perpetuate the rich legacy of Baltimore’s Jazz Tradition and progressive hybrids of classical music. Both entities are subsidiaries of Bonneau Caprece llc.
